She's like a trading ship that sails to faraway places and bring back exotic surprises.
I love to try new things and seek out different ways of accomplishing things...always trying a new way to arrange something or going to a new place to learn or see an unknown or rare item.  I think that's why I like Antiques Roadshow...something different, rare, unique...exotic.
Having a husband with diabetes and a child with small intestinal troubles keeps me on my toes trying different or healthier foods that we don't commonly have in our diet.  Switching to Whole Grain items and handmaking our bread or other foods that you could easily buy, makes life a bit more interesting and the kids aren't always willing or open to trying something a bit out of the ordinary..The rule is..try it and if you really don't like it that's ok...but refusing before trying it is not acceptable.
Is this how we react to what God shows us?  I mean...we receive an impression to do something or act a certain way and if it's not in the norm....we back away or reject it?  How will we learn?  What kind of person would we become if we rejected anything out of the ordinary!  Jesus was certainly OUT OF THE ORDINARY!!  He WAS rejected by many, but in order to receive heaven, we must receive HIM!  Try something exotic, new, unique, and unusual today with your family...you just might be receiving a bit more of HIM in the bargain!!!!
